Material:
All grilles are individually custom fabricated from acoustically transparent open cell polyurethane foam - we use a much improved foam that won't disintegrate over time. Our grilles look better and will last indefinitely.

Sizes:
We can custom fabricate any size grille up to approximately 48" x 60"  - inquire for larger sizes. Stock thicknesses are 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 1 1/2".

Colors:
Grilles are supplied in your choice of the following colors: gloss black, chocolate brown, royal blue, maroon(burgundy), or burnt orange.

Samples are available once orders are placed - otherwise there is a $4 charge for color samples.

Other colors/custom color matching is possible at additional cost.

 Designs:
The images shown are examples of the designs we can provide. These are: Plain, Beveled Edges, Striped, and Checkerboard. Variations or combinations of these designs are possible.

Sculptured designs consist of cutting selectively located grooves into the face of the grille - striped and checkerboard patterns are  examples of this. The minimum thickness recommended for sculptured cutting is 1".  We can fabricate most commercial designs with only a few exceptions - write or call if you're unsure about a particular design; we'll be glad to advise or make suggestions.

IMPORTANT: 

When emailing for a quote or ordering complex designs, please specify exactly what you want with as accurate and complete a sketch or drawing as you can provide; we cannot quote pricing or fabricate a grille accurately without complete design information.

Note: Your speaker components should preferably be flush mounted as grilles we provide usually have no relief on the back to accommodate drivers.   If they are not flush mounted, in most cases we can provide relief on the back of grilles or a frame may be needed.   Velcro tape provides a small standoff (1/16").

Size vs. Thickness recommendations:
In general, thin foam (3/4" or less) should be used only for small to medium sized grilles; 1" or thicker foam can be used for larger sizes. Foam 3/4" or thinner lacks sufficient rigidity and dimensional stability for large grilles (approximately six square feet or larger) or will require extra Velcro mounting tape or other extra mounting support.

Velcro Hook Fastening Tape
One piece, 1" wide, black, made specifically for holding foam in place is available at $3.00 per foot. Tape is cut with scissors into small pieces around 1-2" long or 1/2" wide strips and has self adhesive backing for applying to speaker front. Foam sticks directly to the tape hooks and may be removed or replaced as often as desired. Approximately 6" of tape per square foot of grille size is recommended for each grille. Please be sure to specify with your order whether or not you want velcro tape. Alternately, grilles can be permanently fastened in place using adhesives.
